#150: Sequicentennial Ale

Brewed December 25, 1994

Ingredients for 10 gallons:

50 pounds of Great Western 2 row pale malt.
4 ounces of Northern Brewer, 7.4 alpha, 90 minutes
1 ounce of Centennial, 11.2 alpha, 90 minutes
3 ounces of Centennial, 9.0 alpha, 90 minutes
1 ounce of Cascade, 5.7 alpha, for 45 minutes
1 ounce of Cascade, 5.7 alpha, for 20 minutes
Irish moss last 20 minutes
Yeast: 1098 British Ale, using a 2 level starter
Mash: Strike water 185 degrees, mash temperature 155 degress for 2 hours.

Sparge: 10 gallons of 185 degree untreated water for 1 hour

Pre-boil: 1 hour

Boil: 90 minutes

O.G.: 1.110
