The big city at the western end of the Loire valley is Nante.  What little local brewed beer there is to be had is interesting enough, but some of it is down right odd.  Like seaweed beer.  We're not having any of that right now.

 

Now that we have sampled the wares (and a lot of Belgian beers to boot), maybe we should pay a visit to one of the country side breweries...
