Black Friars Old Peculiar, Theakstons, Very dark, malty, smooth winey flavor, worth seeking out. Not for the weak of spirit, or for the strong of hops. |

Pot Belly, Tomintoul, 1.96, Way too close to
home, malty roasted flavor. Three Sheets, Breakspear, 2.00, also named after yours truly, but with a bitter finish. Theakstons Best Bitter, 1.76, desperate times call for desperate measures, but it's fresh, bitter, clean finish, not too malty, so I had another. |

The Harlequin Bar Staropremen: Gadzooks, a lager! Grassy nose and flavor, even the finish, probably the hops. |
