One of the smokiest pubs I ever seen, alleged to have some great jazz music.  the beer selection is very good, but it doesn't really justify the crowding, and smoke level.

Trappist Rochefort 8.
Drak brown, perhaps a dubbel.  Very malty, and not at all astringent.

La Chouffe, by Brasserie d' Achouffe, 8%, 425 Bfr/75 cl.
Warming, slightly sweet.
